| The Jerusalem Prayer Banquet The Jerusalem Prayer Banquet is a special leadership initiative that has become the premier gathering of high level Christian and Jewish leaders together in the U.S., with a focus on celebrating Jerusalem, and advancing Christian support for Israel. Now in its 5th year, this annual meeting has helped to establish significant worldwide initiatives. It has also been the primary tool to send students to Israel as part of the Israel Experience College Scholarship Program, which is giving tomorrow's leaders an educated heart for Israel. In the ongoing effort to see true peace come to Jerusalem through our prayers and our action, it is critically important that the national dialogue and cooperation be further developed between Christian leaders and Jewish leaders in America and Israel. Our efforts together will significantly strengthen Israel and the Jewish people. Meeting in Los Angeles, 2009 Los Angeles has one of the most vibrant Jewish populations in the world outside of Israel. This strategic city is also the center of the Film and Entertainment industries. As we unite to celebrate Jerusalem, our presence sends a very important message from the Western Gate of our nation to the world that Christians and Jews are united in seeking the good of Israel. Educating Leaders, Honoring two great Heroes Anti-Israel rhetoric is rising in the world, especially on college and university campuses. At the Jerusalem Prayer Banquet 2009 we will strengthen the urgent work of the Israel Experience College Scholarship Program, which takes the best and brightest from campuses across the U.S. to Israel, bringing them back as educated ambassadors for our Judeo-Christian worldview. We will establish two special scholarship s endowments in honor of a Christian leader and a Jewish leader, the “Jack W. Hayford Israel Experience College Scholarship”, and the “Shimon Erem Israel Experience College Scholarship”, honoring the remarkable accomplishments of these two great men.

Pastor Dr. Jack Hayford is the founding Pastor
of The Church on the Way, the founder and Chancellor of the Kings
College and Seminary, and has a worldwide television and radio
ministry. Pastor Hayford has been a friend and supporter of the
people and land of Israel for more than thirty years, and has
been bringing groups there and teaching Christians about Israel
for much of his ministry life. Author of "Why Stand with
Israel Today," Pastor Hayford is also the co-Chairman of
the Global Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem, and is a
tireless advocate of the important link between Christians and
Israel.
Shimon Erem founder and president of the Israel-Christian
Nexus, has lived his life on the frontline of Israel's history.
As one of Israel's most decorated military heroes, General Erem
has played a major role in virtually every war in the nation's
history. Shimon Erem has served on the executive boards of directors
of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, Anti-Defamation
League Pacific Region, Zionist Organization of America, and the
Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs. He is the founder
and president of the Promoting Israel Education Fund. 
Reverend Robert Stearns is the Founder and Executive
Director of Eagles’ Wings, a dynamic ministry involved in
outreaches and strategic projects around the world. Serving as
Co-Chairman with Dr. Jack Hayford, Rev. Stearns is the visionary
behind the global Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem and
the Israel Experience College Scholarship Program.
Pat Boone, a best-selling author, chart-topping
recording star, and humanitarian, Pat Boone’s contribution
to the American culture and country's consciousness has reached
legendary status. Named the Christian Ambassador of Tourism by
the State of Israel, he has been an advocate of Israel for many
years and is a strong supporter of the Israel Experience College
Scholarship.

Jacob Dayan, since October of 2007, Jacob Dayan serves
as Consul General of Israel in the Southwestern United States.
Ambassador Dayan has served as Chief of Staff to the last two
Ministers of Foreign Affairs in Israel, where he had intimate
involvement in policy formation, decision-making, and implementation.
Dr. Frederick K.C. Price , is Senior Pastor of the Crenshaw Christian Center
in Los Angeles, CA, which includes the massiva FaithDome. Dr. Price is the author of over 50 books and thousands of audio and CD messages. His television program "Ever Increasing Faith" is broadcast on multiple TV Networks. In 1990, Dr. Price founded the Fellowship of Inner City Word of Faith Ministries (FICWFM). Members of FICWFM include chrches from all over the United States and various countries. Price holds an honorary disploma from Rhema Bible Training Center, and an honorary Doctorate of Divinity from Oral Roberts University. He is the recipient of the Horatio Alger Award, "The Kelley Smith Interfaith Award." He is the author of Race, Religion & Racism: Volume 3: Jesus, Christianity, and Islam.
